They were among two dozen women who turned out in a forest near Kyiv one recent weekend for a course in firearms and urban combat, training that included shooting rifles, finding booby traps and throwing hand grenades. They were spurred by a sense of duty, they said, realizing they might some day end up on the front lines.

WNU Editor: Not surprised that Ukraine is going to recruit women to fight in the war. The average age for a soldier in the Ukraine army is 43 years old, and getting older. The Ukraine army is running out of male bodies to fight in this war, and they need new recruits. Since there are a lot of widows and mothers who have lost their sons and loved ones in this war, the Ukraine Army will (I predict) have no trouble tapping into this grief and anger for them to join.

Russia is also recruiting women. WNU had a story about it. There are over 307,000 Russian dead and wounded. There would be plenty of Russian war widows too. Maybe they can drive trucks that go boom in the night as they and their supplies go sky high!

Ok wait, after reading this blog even more, I see you put up another one of the Russian propaganda YT channel Military Summary with the caption "Women's Mobilization"... Dude... You're not hiding it anymore OR you're completely out of the loop.
Ok here is the issue and it is confusing the way this whole situation is being portrayed. It has to do with word definitions......
Define "mobilization"
Are they asking for women volunteers? (but is this not already going on, and if so why make a big deal it?)

Women were created by God to be mothers to children and companions/helpers for their husbands. It is very wrong for governments to use females as soldiers with the purpose of killing enemies of their nation. Very wrong.

I'm against using women in combat roles too, but it should be noted that the Red Army - which both the Russian and Ukrainian are successors too - used a lot of women in WWII. 800,000 served and they filled all sorts of frontline and support roles mentioned in the news article and more. They served as snipers, medics, machine gunners, truck drivers, tank drivers, manned AA batteries, fly combat aircraft, and many others. And of course many worked as partisans. This was not unique to the Red Army, but they utilized them more than anyone else. Incidentally the Nazis were very angry about fighting women and saw it as proof of the degeneracy of the Soviet Union. Out of all the major combatants in WWII, Nazi Germany utilized women the least in their armed forces (at least in Europe, don't know about how things were with Japan).
BTW, if WNU Editor is so interested about military recruiting women, he should have known back in October that Russia began recruiting women for frontline roles for the first time according to Important Stories, a Russian investigative outlet. That seems to be true because now there are videos on Russian internet platforms showing one of these women. Back in March, Ukraine reported Russia had already begun recruiting female prisoners, and this has been confirmed by human rights groups in Germany. Hmm, for some reason WNU Editor didn't link to any news media reporting on that. Maybe Newsweek, Deutsche Welle, and the Moscow Times are too obscure for him - he obviously prefers sources like a disbarred attorney hiding out in Cyprus and some crazy moonbat posting anonymously for his news.
To an unbiased eye, it seems that Ukraine eventually adopts what recruitment methods Russia uses, but only much slower because they have less need. Russia had to resort to conscription immediately while it took over a year before Ukraine had to do so. So far no recruiting from prisons though. Russia far ahead on that one. They may only be slightly ahead when it comes to recruiting women.
WNU Editor may like to mention the supposed average age of the Ukrainian troops, but he doesn't mention any of the known facts that we know about the Russians being sent into combat. As early as May 2022 Putin changed the law to enable people older than 40 to enlist. In July 2023 Putin increased the maximum age for BARS members by five years, and those already allowed people in their forties and fifties. There's a lot of people complaining on Russian social media how these forty and fifty year old duffers in BARS - with little training and non-standard equipment - are being sent to fight in Ukraine and suffering huge casualties. Simply looking at the many videos posted on Russian social media of soldiers complaining show a lot of older looking men. But again, despite these videos being shown all over the place, WNU Editor never seems to know about them. Curious.
Whatever problems that Ukraine has with casualties and new recruits, they so far do not appear to be as bad as the Russians.

a. First the Commies were considered barbarians. A nation whose actions were disgusting and definitely a nation whose behavior was NOT to be copied.
b. The nazis were right , the Commies were degenerates.
c. As far as old men in the reserves (BARS) nothing new there. You should see some of the guys in the US National Guard. And these BARS guys are not draftees...they are volunteers
D. You do not see a lot of old men in Russian units. But ukie units... the old and beards with gray , are the majority. To imply the Russians have the same problem as the ukies, in finding young men to fill the ranks, is a lie.
Fixed it for you. You would not want the be telling a lot of half truths like you do every time you post would you?
