A long-running spat between Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky and the country's top commander is breaking into public view as Kyiv seeks to shore up its battlefield and diplomatic positions under a cloud of unmet expectations.
With freezing temperatures settling over 600 miles of churned battlefields, Ukraine is facing another difficult winter of Russian bombardment. Ukrainian officials will spend the coming months trying to shore up waning Western financial and military support, while batting away demands for renewed peace talks with Moscow.

WNU Editor: Reports of a major rift between Ukraine President Zelensky and Ukraine’s commander-in-chief, General Valerii Zaluzhny have been ongoing since the start of 2023. And while I do not know what is the true state of the relationship between President Zelensky and General Valerii Zaluzhny, I do know that if your side was winning there would be no reports and/or rumors of dissension.

WNU was positively giddy after SU-24s and helicopters filled the breach and stopped the armored assaults. WNU was positively blown after those armored assaults were stopped and the pictures shown.
Petreus laid it out. There was no air support. If there was the Russian helicopters would have died.
The general operates on a political level. Zelensky operates on a political and military one. Perhaps the general should have been as in your face with fat ass Milley as Zelensky.
People have counted the ATACMS. the US did not give that many. They certainly did not give them before the assaults although they could have. the US DoD gives more armored vehicles to police department than they give to Ukraine. The PDs are going to need them after Biden's faithless execution of Border Patrol and immigration.
The DoD demils more AFVs and missile than they give to Ukraine and at a greater cost.
People have counted the ATACMs used from press reports. It is not that many. It leads people to the conclusion that the the White House restricts aid, because it wants frozen conflict so they can mediate. They will send their best and brightest like Blinken, Malley, Kerry and others. Kerry can make the Russian negotiator choke on his GHG.

Poroshenko was caught on wiretap telling Rimat Akhmetov 3 days ago that Zaluzhny and Klitschko are "with him" regarding the ouster of Zelensky and negotiating an end to the war.
“The President of Ukraine Vladimir Zelensky and his team must be overthrown immediately, otherwise the Banderaites will lose the war against Russia, and the moneybags protecting them will lose everything they have acquired through dishonest labor.”
Ex-President of Ukraine Petro Poroshenko spoke about this in a telephone conversation with oligarch Rinat Akhmetov.
A recording of their conversation was published in the Ukrainian segment of social networks.
He emphasized that Valery Zaluzhny and the military are “with them” and are just waiting for a decision, as well as the financial support that they will have to provide to the Ukrainian oligarchs.
Poroshenko: “Our friends said that they had already invested a lot, they covered us too much, negotiated for us with the Russians. Now we need to take everything into our own hands, decisions. We will agree, but we need to act, there is no time.”
Akhmetov said he would think about it and asked for a personal meeting.
