Jerusalem Post: UK, US planning strikes as 10 Houthis killed in Red Sea
The Houthis warned that the US 'bears the consequences' of the deaths of the ten militants.
Ten Iran-backed Houthi militants were killed after the US sunk their boats during an attempted attack by the militants against a container ship in the southern Red Sea, the militant group announced on Sunday evening.
On Sunday morning, the Maersk Hangzhou container ship issued a distress call after being attacked by four Houthi small boats, as the Houthis fired on the vessel and attempted to board it, according to US Central Command (CENTCOM). The security team on the vessel returned fire.
When the US helicopters from the USS Eisenhower and USS Gravely arrived at the scene, the Houthis fired at them as well. The helicopters returned fire, sinking three of the four boats and killing their crews. The fourth boat fled the area.

4 Houthi boats were attacking the container ship and then the US helicopter. The US helicopter sank 3 of the attaching boats but allowed 1 boat to escape--why? They should have sank all four!
Probably wised up and didn't participate in the shooting. Or you just want to run around sinking every ship you see?

Why say anything at all. it's out on the ocean. There's no eyes out there. do what needs to be done and say nothing. Let the Houthis flap their gums making allegations but they won't have any proof. I do not need to know that we slaughtered Houthis pirates on the open sea. And don't tell Biden, he can't keep his mouth shut.
Because you need to convince the shipping companies the red sea is safe. All global economies are effected by this

If its in the attack zone it should have been sunk . Doesn't matter if a Russian tank doesn't open fire , if it's part of the attack formation it's a threat and gets hit. I'm betting it pulled out a manpad, and the helo backed off.
