The US Naval Academy's football team didn't get a win on Saturday, but thousands of miles away, there's one American warship that's on an impressive hot streak.
USS Carney is undefeated — by a margin of 22-0 — against the missiles and drones launched by Iran-backed Houthi rebels since the Arleigh Burke-class destroyer deployed to Middle Eastern waters in October, according to a video shared to social media by the US Navy during Saturday's Army-Navy football game, which saw the Black Knights defeat the Midshipmen 17-11.

Shooting down Houthi missiles is no big achievement
It's an achievement. Better than being hit by one...
It’s nice to know they work but it’s not even a near-peer.
It's a good show, but nothing to brag about. Professionals do not brag about doing their job, because there is no need to.
It is a sign of lack of character. Which, sad to say, is the new American cultural way.
And comparing getting shot at to some type of stupid game is really a sorry ass way of presenting yourself.
It is, the antiship missiles dint know they are houti lol. They are Chinese, Russian or iranian as far as it goes
Nonsense it's called morale
Of course its possible the other guy is launching said missiles to gain insight into how US Navy ships intercept them and detect possible weak spots. So that one day they launch an attack that isn't stopped. Since missiles are tolerably cheap you can lose some in order to gain knowledge about how the other guy reacts. Don't assume the houthis are launching but do absolutely no post fight assesments. Don't think that they're just looking at the sky see the missile fail and then they say 'launch another one'.
Morale does not come by acting like an infantile 5 year old.
Morale comes from decent leadership, good training and believing in yourself and those around you.
