U.S. President Biden Will Host Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky At The White House Tomorrow

Washington Post: Biden invites Zelensky to Washington amid Ukraine funding fight

President Biden will host Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky at the White House this week, the administration announced Sunday, as Congress looks increasingly unlikely to pass additional funding for Ukraine and as U.S. officials warn that the country will run out of money by the end of the year to fight against Russia’s invasion.

Zelensky also will meet with some congressional leaders on Tuesday. Majority Leader Charles E. Schumer (D-N.Y.) and Minority Leader Mitch McConnell (R-Ky.) invited Zelensky to speak to senators Tuesday morning, according to a Senate leadership aide. House Speaker Mike Johnson (R-La.) will also meet with Zelensky, spokesman Raj Shah said on X, formerly Twitter.

No more Money or material Aid to Ukraine from the US. The summer offensive failed, and that was their last real chance at anything going in their favor. If Europe cannot supply Ukraine commensurate to their needs in prosecuting this war, that lack of support from Europe and the ultimate failure in Ukraine will be their responsibility and subsequent problem. The US has done way more than enough, and our politicians have ignored the entirely unsecure border issue, crumbling infrastructure and unfathomable reckless debt that we have build up that are much more important here. Most of Europe has just sat there demanding the US give more, while clinging their glasses at their IGO/NGO meet ups and engaging in performative grievancing for the cameras. Its a European conflict/concern first and foremost, and they havent even taken it very seriously.
