Kyiv Post: Germany Sends New Military Aid to Ukraine
Along with fighting vehicles and tanks, the aid includes the IRIS-T air defense missiles, which have been essential in preventing Russian missiles from hitting Ukrainian cities.
Germany sent defense missiles, infantry fighting vehicles, radars, trucks and other equipment to Ukraine.
The delivery comes in the wake of the largest aerial bombardment of Ukraine since the beginning of Russia’s full-scale invasion of Ukraine.
According to the government’s website, Germany supplied Ukraine with a Skynex air defense system with ammunition, missiles for the IRIS-T SLM air defense system, ammunition for Leopard 2 A6 tanks, and almost 10,000 rounds of 155mm artillery ammunition.
