Reuters: Turkish air strikes hit 24 Kurdish militant targets in northern Iraq, Syria, ministry says
ISTANBUL (Reuters) - Turkey's military conducted air strikes in northern Iraq and Syria on Sunday and destroyed 24 Kurdish militant targets, the Turkish Defence Ministry said in a statement, adding many militants had been "neutralised" in the attack.
The term "neutralised" when used in such expressions most often means "killed". The operations were conducted in northern Syria and Metina, Hakurk, Gara, Asos and Qandil regions of northern Iraq at 10 p.m. (1900 GMT), the ministry said.

There were two airstrikes over the Azov Sea. Russia may have lost an AWACS
Why did Russia need an AWACs there? Because it lost so many ground based AD units. So it was backstopping until it got scratched.
Meanwhile like the Americans, the Kremlin is fighting internal enemies.
Apparently Teplinsky is an internal enemy. He is also one of the few competent generals. Why bring him back, when there are so many other generals on the retired list? Because they are not as competent as he is. Still, the Kremlin feels threatened, so they are going after him after rehabilitating him.
