* Concern over the impact of artificial intelligence in disrupting election outcomes has topped the list of the biggest risks for 2024, according to a new report.
* The World Economic Forum’s “Global Risks Report 2024” ranked AI-derived misinformation and disinformation ahead of climate change, war and economic weakness.
* The report’s authors said that the combined risks are “stretching the world’s adaptative capacity to its limit,” and called on leaders to focus on global cooperation and building guardrails.
As around half of the world’s adult population heads to the polls in a bumper year of elections, concern over the role of artificial intelligence in disrupting outcomes has topped the list of the biggest risks for 2024, according to a new report.
The World Economic Forum’s “Global Risks Report 2024,” released Wednesday, ranked AI-derived misinformation and disinformation — and its implications for societal polarization — ahead of climate change, war and economic weakness in its top 10 risks over the next two years. “
AI can build out models for influencing large populations of voters in a way that we haven’t seen before,” Carolina Klint, chief commercial officer for Europe at consultancy Marsh McLennan, which co-produced the report, told CNBC’s Silvia Amaro.

AI is going to wake up and wipeout the useless parasites at the top. AI with an IQ higher than a human's will figure out how the elites cause recessions, fleece the economy and in general cause misery.
If AI is not going to to broadly wipe out humanity that is commit genocide, it will probably confront and deal with the elites. For sure, it will be the elites and not Joe the plumber, a delivery driver or an electrician.

But more importantly, TPTB are prepping for the future. Elections do not go their way, they can say that the election was hacked or people were misled.

That way they then have a reason to call the election illegitimate and throw the nation into some kind of legalist chaos.
There can be all sorts of misinformation put out by the Russians, AI, the MSM or whoever. I already know who I ill vote for 12 to 48 months before the election.
The AI scam is like the Russiagate scam. They lose elections or get caught cheating and so they gaslight 'til the cows come home and beyond.

Of course AI can and already is influencing everything from elections to economy and politics. Has so for decades in the miliary - just check out project DART from 1991.
AI, where they cannot control the algorithms, is what they are afraid of. Just like most people have turned off the MSM, know that the politicians are lying about everything, those folks will move away from government narrative algorithms and to the AI that is more balanced. Like using DuckDuckGo or Rumble. In California, a new poll shows that 72% of the people polled believe that gender is binary. They can't get a majority to see the emperors brand new cloths unless they have complete control.
