The SUN: UFO RIDDLE Mystery as Area 51 investigator says FBI & US Air Force ransacked home & seized ALL his computers in ‘humiliating’ raid

AN Area 51 researcher said his home was raided by the FBI and US Air Force who seized all his computers, Joerg Arnu runs the Dreamland Resort website dedicated to the goings on at the mysterious base in Nevada but said he was subject to a "humiliating raid".

Anru said his homes in Las Vegas and also in the town of Rachel were searched by a "combined team" of the FBI and Air Force Office of Special Investigations.

Writing on the website, he said "each location saw at least 15-20 agents rummaging through our homes and about 8 vehicles". "I will spare you the details but it got quite tense and humiliating for me in Rachel and for my girlfriend in Vegas," he said.

Warzone/The Drive: Mysterious Aircraft Spotted At Area 51 In Unprecedented Satellite Image

A delta-shaped tailless fighter-sized aircraft that looks like nothing we've seen before calls the secretive base home.

Roughly eight years since its construction began, the massive hangar located at the remote southern end of the Air Force's clandestine flight test center at Groom Lake, better known as Area 51, has seemed to have had little to no activity. Based on commercial satellite imagery and sporadic video taken by hikers from Tikaboo Peak dozens of miles away, there have never been more than a handful of vehicles nearby and nothing of significance in terms of infrastructure has been built up around it. Now, for the first time, satellite imagery from Planet Labs not only shows activity around the mysterious hangar, but the nature of that activity is a never-before-seen exotic delta-wing aircraft parked on its northern apron.

The Pentagon Wants A New Drone

Image: Reuters

National Interest: The Pentagon Has Its Eyes on a New Drone

The Pentagon awarded development contracts to two of America’s unmanned aerial vehicle heavyweights to develop a new UAV as soon as next year.

The United States Department of Defense has awarded development contracts to Kratos Unmanned Aerial Systems and General Atomics Aeronautical Systems to develop an Off-Boarding Sensing Station (OBSS) for unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs).

Both contracts, which were awarded separately, cover “the design, development, and flight demonstration in an open architecture aircraft concept to achieve the goals of rapid time-to-market and low acquisition cost,” with both companies’ work anticipated to be completed by October 31st, 2022.

The Department of Defense awarded both companies about $17.7 million each and included an option for the companies to increase their payouts to just under $32 million.

Secret Stealth Drone Spotted Over Area 51

The latest sighting of the apparent RQ-180, spotted over Area 51 on October 30. DREAMLANDRESORT.COM

Warzone/The Drive: Secret RQ-180 Stealth Drone Spotted Over Area 51

This was the third photographic encounter with the secret flying wing drone, leaving little doubt as to its existence.

A year after the apparent first sighting of what is very likely to be the Air Force’s so-called ‘RQ-180’ very stealthy flying-wing surveillance aircraft above the Mojave Desert, what looks like the very same aircraft has now been photographed over Area 51, the clandestine flight test center deep within the Nevada Test and Training Range. While we still don’t know for absolute certain the details surrounding this craft, or even its official designation, the latest appearance follows a previous sighting over the Philippines in September that The War Zone was first to report and suggests perhaps that the secret drone is now edging toward a more operational, and possibly even less clandestine, status.

Is China Building Its Own Area 51?

This image from June 28, 2021 shows about a dozen large buildings are under construction at the mysterious, remote airfield. Maxar Technologies

Asia Times: Is China building its own Area 51 secret base?

Satellite images indicate that Beijing has begun work on a similar flight test facility in remote Xinjiang Deep in the heart of the Nevada desert, one of America’s presidential Boeing 707s landed at a mysterious, secret base.

The date is unknown — possibly late 1950s or early 1960s — but the account is now legend.

According to the story related by a man who served on board that aircraft, it carried a group of US military brass for an unusual meeting.

Mysterious High-Altitude Flight Corridor Was Opened Up Between Area 51 And The Pacific For Two And A Half Hours On Saturday

A look at the entire route as defined in the NOTAM. Foreflight

The restricted strip of airspace bridged the Nevada Test and Training Range with the Pacific Ocean during a few-hour window last Saturday evening.

Late last week, a curious alert appeared in the Federal Aviation Administration's database of Notices to Airman, or NOTAMs, which, among other things, alerts aviators to chunks of airspace that are temporarily off-limits. The details strongly point to the comings or goings of a high-flying aircraft between either Area 51, also known as Groom Lake, or the Tonopah Test Range Airport, two of the U.S. military's most closely-guarded flight test facilities, and the Pacific Ocean to the southwest of San Francisco, California.

Mysterious Dagger-Shaped Object Spotted In Area-51 Hangar

GABE ZEIFMAN Warzone/The Drive: Let's Talk About This Intriguing Object Seen In The Scoot-And-Hide Hangar At Area 51

A recent photo taken of Groom Lake by a private pilot shows what appears to be a dagger-shaped object in one of the facility's aircraft shelters.

Private pilot Gabriel Zeifman, who has taken aerial shots of Area 51, also known as Groom Lake, the U.S. Air Force's famous clandestine flight test center in Nevada, as well as other shy installations, in the past and whose flights we were first to report on, grabbed new pictures of the facility on Christmas Day. Zeifman shared his latest batch of images with numerous outlets via a public link, which has drawn new interest in the base. Overall, they are very similar to past images, but they do include a particularly good view of an elongated hangar-like structure, known as scoot-and-hide shelter, which appears to have a strangely shaped object of some kind visible inside. We have received dozens of inquires asking about this object and the shelter that it sits in, so we thought we would address them in a new post.

Another News Story On Area 51

CBS: What is Area 51? And why is it so secretive?

It's been a perennial American obsession for more than 50 years. It's provided a shadowy backdrop for shows like "The X-Files" and movies like the 1996 summer blockbuster "Independence Day." And in 2019, this well-known but little-understood location took over social media when one jokester inspired millions of people to RSVP "yes" to trespassing.

The place: Area 51, a remote patch of desert some 83 miles north-northwest of Las Vegas, next to a salt flat at the foot of a mountain. This military outpost — and what's happened inside it — is so top-secret that its very existence was disputed until 2013.

The Next Area 51?

Zero Hedge: The Next Area 51? Space Force Opens New Lab For Testing 'Novel Space Vehicles'

The US Air Force recently announced the opening of a new high-tech lab which it says will be used by the recently established Space Force (USSF) to test advanced materials and designs for space vehicles such as satellites and spacecraft.

The new lab facility is located at Kirtland Air Force Base in New Mexico and is called Deployable Structures Laboratory (DeSel): "I’m excited to have a facility that was specifically built for testing novel deployable space structures," the chief of the lab's Integrated Structural Systems team Benjamin Urioste announced Monday.

"With the push towards hybrid architecture and smaller satellites, high packing efficiency structures and the ability to bring large satellite capability to small satellites is more important than ever," Urioste added. Further according to the press release:

Warzone/The Drive: Area 51 Has A Huge New Hangar Facility That Points To A Drone Swarm Future

The Air Force is accelerating its advanced combat drone development efforts and the facility's unique attributes seem perfect for supporting them.

The Air Force's clandestine flight test center deep inside the Nevada Test and Training Range, known as Area 51 or Groom Lake, among more colorful nicknames, continues to grow as it approaches its seventh decade of operations. Constant construction has grown the remote facility dramatically since the turn of the millennium, including the addition of a massive and still mysterious hangar built at the base's remote southern end. Now, an even larger extension to an existing hangar facility that is quite peculiar in nature points to the very real possibility that the age of large swarms of unmanned combat air vehicles (UCAVs) has finally arrived.

New long-range photographs of the top-secret military base deep in the Nevada Desert show a giant hangar previously pictured at the site is nowhere to be seen.

An entire building has quietly vanished from the United States' mysterious Area 51.

Before and after photographs of the top-secret military base in the Nevada desert show a large hangar has vanished.

The mystery around the site has sparked rumours aliens and UFO have been captured there, as American authorities reveal almost nothing publicly about what its purpose is.

Long-range photographs captured by private pilot Gabe Zeifman offer a rare insight into the layout of one of the most enigmatic landmarks in the world.

The pilot had permission to fly along the border of the base despite the airspace over Area 51 being tightly restricted.

Newsweek: Inside the Mysterious Area 51: Aliens, UFOs, Conspiracies and More

Area 51, a top-secret U.S. military facility in the Nevada desert, has been at the center of many conspiracy theories for decades, many of which conclude that Area 51 conducts tests on alien life and UFOs. The highly guarded government location releases very little information to the public leaving much room for speculation—the government didn't even formally acknowledge the existence of Area 51 until 2013. In 2019, thousands of alien enthusiasts stormed the surrounding area after a "joke" Facebook event was created— that 2 million people responded to. Despite the secrecy and rumors surrounding the location, here are some things we do know.

Pilot Was Able To Take Amazing Pictures Of Area 51 And Tonopah Air Base

An amazing shot looking south. Note the runway construction and displaced threshold we have mentioned in the past, as well as the ongoing revitalization of the "Janet Airlines" terminal at the very south end of the base. While the terminal area is under construction, a temporary terminal area appears to have been relocated near the center of the closest blocks, or 'canyons," of hangars. You can see the cars parked just to the east of the ramp area. Gabriel Zeifman

Warzone/The Drive: Pilot Takes Amazing Images Of Area 51 And Tonopah Air Base While Skirting Restricted Airspace

A private pilot had one heck of an adventure through the Nevada Test and Training Range, getting very rare looks at the shadowy installations.

They are America's most secretive airbases, Area 51 and Tonopah Test Range Airport, located deep in the massive Nevada Test and Training Range that covers a large portion of southern Nevada. Although there are distant vantage points on the ground that allow views into these highly secure installations, aerial images of them taken close enough to make out any details are rare to nonexistent. Regardless, some may be surprised to hear that private planes do legally fly along the borders and even into some of the ranges that make up the NTTR, offering a one of a kind aerial tour of a land that the government would like you to forget. One such aerial adventure was recently flown by private pilot Gabriel Zeifman in his little Cessna 150. He brought his camera along with him and the results are stunning.

Visitors To Area 51 Have To Wear 'Foggles'

Visitors to the base are forced to wear foggles similar to these until inside a secure building

Daily Mail: Visitors to secretive military base Area 51 in Nevada have to wear 'foggles' while being escorted on site to protect classified government technology from prying eyes

* Area 51 is America's most secretive, secure military base in the Nevada desert
* Visitors to the base are forced to wear foggles until inside a secure building
* The frosted eyewear prevents wearers from seeing anything apart from what is directly in from of them and below
* Glasses prevent the base from prying eyes from those who are already on site

Visitors to America's most secretive military base are forced to wear a special kind of eye wear while on site in order to keep sensitive information classified and away from prying eyes.

The special glasses are known as foggles and use a type of frosted glass to ensure that the wearer can only see what appears in front and below them. Any kind of peripheral vision is obscured.

The glasses, which are frequently used by pilots that are learning to fly using just their instruments also appear to be a useful tool when escorting visitors around Area 51 in Nevada, long thought to be country's most protected and mysterious base.

Area 51 Has Its Own Fleet Of Helicopters

Warzone/The Drive: Area 51 Has Its Own Unique Fleet Of HH-60U Ghost Hawk Helicopters

Originally intended as replacements for the Air Force's aging HH-60G Pave Hawks, they now exclusively support operations at the top-secret base

Almost everything about the U.S. military's Area 51 flight test facility, also known as Groom Lake, is shrouded in secrecy and mystery. This even extends to the base's small and unique fleet of HH-60U rescue helicopters, sometimes called Ghost Hawks, which at least help provide security, local search and rescue, and other types of utility support in and around the base.

The Air Force is understood to have a total of four HH-60Us, one of which is seen at the top of this story and all of which are modified examples of the U.S. Army's HH-60M Black Hawk medical evacuation (MEDEVAC), or "Dustoff," helicopter. Area 51 watchers have determined that the U models are likely assigned to a unit colloquially know as the "Ghost Squadron." This helicopter unit is one of a number of secretive elements associated with Detachment 3, Air Force Flight Test Center, which appears to be one of the main Air Force entities at Groom Lake. Detachment 3 also reportedly oversees operations involving other more traditional aircraft and so-called "Foreign Materiel Exploitation," or FME, examining non-American aircraft and systems at the secretive base, along with its other top-secret flight test duties.

'Storm Area 51' Event Is Today

Daily Mail: It's Alienstock! Thousands descend on two tiny Nevada desert towns as three-day 'Storm Area 51' event kicks off despite promise of arrest for trespassing on the top secret government site

* 'Storm Area 51, They Can't Stop All of Us' event has commenced in rural Nevada
* Thousands of people have already started arriving in the towns of Rachel and Hiko, located close to the highly classified Air Force base
* Authorities are bracing for potentially chaotic scenes after more than 2 million people said they were attending the event after a Facebook invite went viral in June
* Officials are warning attendees not to approach to base and say they are prepared to make arrests
* Last week, police arrested and jailed two Dutch tourists for trespassing on a government site after they were inspired by the Area 51 event

Authorities admit they don't know what to expect as the 'Storm Area 51, They Can't Stop All of Us' event kicks off in rural Nevada.

More than 2 million people have said they are 'attending' the event and more than a thousand tourists have already descended upon the tiny towns of Rachel and Hiko, located close to the highly classified Air Force Base.

The two towns have a combined population of just 175 people, with many locals wondering whether their community can cope with an influx of people after an invite to the extraterrestrial-themed event went viral on Facebook back in June.

Lincoln County Sheriff Kerry Lee told Associated Press on Thursday that around 1500 revelers have arrived near Area 51 - long thought to harbor government secrets about alien activity.

Storm Area 51 Has Officially Been Cancelled

Mysterious Universe: AlienStock/Storm Area 51 Has Officially Been Cancelled

The AlienStock/Storm Area 51 event that was originally scheduled to take place in Rachel, Nevada, next week has officially been cancelled. Matty Roberts created the Facebook page “Storm Area 51, They Can’t Stop All Of Us” as a joke, but around two million people have pledged to storm the Air Force base as it has been widely speculated that there’s an alien cover-up happening there and people want answers.

Roberts, however, has pulled the plug on his own event, calling it “Fyre Festival 2.0” in reference to the 2017 event where many paying festival-goers were left stranded on a private island in the Bahamas with no music, no real lodging, and barely any food or supplies. It has been described as “mass chaos”.

Nevada County Draft Emergency Declaration Ahead Of The September 20 'Storm Area 51' Event

Daily Mail: Nevada officials draft emergency declaration plan ahead of Storm Area 51 event - amid fears things will get 'ugly' when '2 MILLION' visitors descend on the remote military base

* More than two million Facebook users say they are attending the 'Storm Area 51, They Can't Stop All Of Us' event in Lincoln County, Nevada on September 20
* Officials predict around 40,000 people could show up
* While that number is considerably smaller than the one indicated on Facebook, residents say they don't have the resources to cope with the influx
* One official predicts the situation could get 'ugly', with cellphone service likely to go down and police resources stretched to the limit
* Area 51 is the once top-secret U.S. Air Force test area known in popular lore as a site for government studies of outer space aliens

Fearing they could be overwhelmed with visitors, officials in the remote Nevada county that's home to the Area 51 military base have drafted an emergency declaration ahead of next month's planned 'Storm Area 51' event.

Lincoln County is home to the once top-secret U.S. Air Force test area known in popular lore as a site for government studies of outer space aliens, and more than two million Facebook users have indicated they will descend upon the base on September 20

Officials predict 40,000 people might show up, but that's still enough to stoke concern, as Lincoln County only has around 5,200 residents.

Area 51 Was Busy This Weekend

VFR sectional via VFRMap.com

Warzone/The Drive: Something Big Seems To Be Going Down Near Area 51 This Weekend

Various pieces of information point to some important and secretive testing taking place in the Nevada Test and Training Range over the weekend.

The Nevada Test and Training Range (NTTR) seems to be hosting a significant test—or tests—of some sort this weekend, at least according to fragmented reports from various sources. Keep in mind, the nature of the topic makes attempting to draw any hard conclusions as to what exactly is afoot in the large swathes of cordoned off airspace that sit over southern Nevada a grossly speculative game that isn't really the purpose of this post. With that in mind, here is what we hearing.

A handful of interesting Notices To Airman (NOTAMs) had been published that identify distinct restricted areas within the NTTR that are being placed off-limits to any air traffic at any altitude. Keep in mind, these NOTAMs are for military aircrews, not wayward civilian planes or light aircraft trying to weave around the NTTR over the weekend when some of the Military Operating Areas (MOAs) may be "cold" (not in use). Twitter user Bryan Herbert, who keeps an eye on aerial happenings and breaking news events throughout the region, first posted about the NOTAM on August 8th.
