The Wives Of Bin Laden May Know All The Secrets

The Real Housewife of Abbottabad: What bin Laden's Spouse Knows -- Time Magazine

The U.S. Navy Seal team that killed Osama bin Laden and removed a bonanza of documents and flash drives may have left behind a vital source of intelligence: bin Laden's wife Amal Ahmed Abdul Fatah. The story of how she found her way back to bin Laden's hideout in Pakistan from Yemen could well have revealed crucial clues as to whether Pakistani authorities had been aware of the al-Qaeda leader's presence in their country. And if U.S. officials had been tracking her at the time, they might have found bin Laden sooner.

Is Osama Bin Laden's Son In U.S. Custody?

US Troops Took Away ‘Osama’s Son’ -- DAWN

ISLAMABAD, May 3: Osama bin Laden’s teenage daughter witnessed her father’s death in the compound in Abbottabad according to an ISI official. The girl is now in Pakistani custody together with Bin Laden’s wife. The wife, who speaks only Arabic and who was injured in the attack, said on regaining consciousness that she was Yemeni and that she had been in the compound for a few months.

The official said there were 17 or 18 people in the compound at the time of the attack and that as well as taking Osama bin Laden’s body away the Americans took one person alive — possibly one of his sons.

Four dead bodies were left in the compound. It is believed they are of another son, 2 brothers and a guard.

My Comment: No denials from U.S. officials that one of Bin Laden's sons was whisked away from his compound during the raid, and no reports on this story from the U.S. media. But this narrative is changing every day, so who knows what will be said tomorrow.

Is Osama Bin Laden Worth More Alive Than Dead?

Omar Osama bin Laden, the fourth-eldest son of the terror leader.

Osama bin Laden Is 'Worth More Alive Than Dead', Declares His Son -- Times Online

Osama bin Laden is worth more to the United States alive than dead because his death could unleash “very, very nasty” attacks by militants, his son has claimed.

In an at times rambling interview with Rolling Stone magazine, which was conducted in part in a Damascus strip club, the terror leader’s fourth-eldest son, Omar Osama bin Laden, said that his father had already won the War on Terror because he had achieved his aim of humbling the US and would probably not feel the need to launch more big attacks.

Osama Bin Laden's Son Speaks

Omar bin Laden Family Photo Collection

Growing Up Bin Laden: Osama's Son Speaks -- Time Magazine

For Omar Bin Laden, the fourth eldest of Osama bin Laden's 20 known children, the awful realization that his own father was a terrorist mastermind plotting a global conspiracy that would destroy the lives of thousands of innocent people and even his own family came gradually. Of course, there were warning signs: Omar's childhood was marked by regular beatings and survivalist training; there was the growing army of ruffians and retainers who called his father "Prince"; and then there was that Afghan mullah who had given his father an entire mountain in Tora Bora.

Osama bin Laden's son has been dead for months, U.S. officials believe, but the CIA has tried to keep it a secret as a way of "messing with al-Qaeda." Saad bin Laden was likely killed in a Predator drone strike earlier this year in Pakistan, though U.S. officials cannot say for sure.

From ABC News:

U.S. Officials Believe Tactic Meant to 'Mess' with al Qaeda.

Osama bin Laden's son has been dead for months, U.S. officials believe, but the CIA has tried to keep it a secret as a way of "messing with al-Qaeda.".

Saad bin Laden was likely killed in a Predator drone strike earlier this year in Pakistan, though U.S. officials cannot say for sure. Determining whether Saad bin Laden was killed in a drone attack will be difficult. If he was a victim of a missile attack, it will be unlikely that there will ever be any DNA testing to confirm his death.

Bin Laden Son Coordinated Ops With Iran -- Military.com

Osama bin Laden's son coordinated communications between al Qaeda's second-in-command and Iran’s Qods Force, The Long War Journal has confirmed.

Sa'ad bin Laden facilitated communications between Ayman al Zawahiri and Qods Force, the notorious special operations branch of the Iranian Revolutionary Guards Corps, in September 2008 after the deadly attack on the US embassy in Yemen.

Sa'ad entered Pakistan's northwest to meet with Zawahiri in Pakistan sometime in early September, according to Mike McConnell, the outgoing Director of National Intelligence. Sa'ad's whereabouts are currently unknown, but he is still thought to be with al Qaeda's senior leadership inside Pakistan. Sa'ad, his brother Hamza, and other senior al Qaeda leaders are known to routinely travel back and forth between Iran and Pakistan.

Osama Bin Laden's Son Calls For Britain To Be Wiped Out On Terror Web Film

Osama Bin Laden's youngest son, Hamza, appears in a video in 2001

From The Telegraph:

The son of terrorist leader Osama Bin Laden has appeared on a terrorist film on the internet calling for Britain and its allies to be wiped out.

Hamza Bin Laden, 16, the youngest of the Saudi-born warlord's 18 sons, is claimed to be the author of a poem featured on an extremist website to mark the third anniversary of the July 7 London bombings in which 52 people died.

In it, the boy dubbed the Crown Prince of Terror, called for an acceleration in the "destruction" of America, Britain, France and Denmark, the latter singled out for the publishing by its largest selling broadsheet of caricatures of the Prophet Mohammed.

Iran in Secret Talks With al Qaeda, U.S. Officials Say

From ABC News:

Sources Say Iranian Govt., Terror Group in Contact About Militants Under House Arrest

Senior U.S. officials tell ABC News that in recent months there have been secret contacts between the Iranian government and the leadership of al Qaeda. It's a development that has caught the attention of top officials in the White House, the Pentagon and the intelligence community.

According to U.S. officials familiar with highly sensitive intelligence on this issue, the contacts are on the status of high-level al Qaeda operatives, including two of Osama Bin Laden's sons, who have been under house arrest in Iran since 2003. The officials don't believe Iran will allow these operatives to go free, but said they don't know Iran's motivation for initiating the talks.

My Comment: This is another clear indication that close ties are maintained between Al Qaeda and Iranian Government officials. Because this involves two of Osama bin Ladin's sons, it is not hard to figure out who in Al Qaeda is directing these talks. The question is why Iran is doing this now. What is their strategy? This is an answer that I do not know.
