My Comment: The Iranian mullahs and their supporters have been losing the support of their people for a very long time. This slippery slope is something that the Iranian leaders are aware of .... and with time are becoming more and more sensitive to this lack of security and legitimacy.
The consequences of this insecurity can be disastrous to all involved, especially to the people of Iran.
The leadership of Iran must be made aware that they should never underestimate the will of the U.S. and its allies. Many countries and military dictatorships have learned in the past .... do not wish what you may get, especially when it comes to the U.S. .
As for the U.S., there are no good options in this situation. This is a conflict that is out of its hands ..... but a conflict that can drag the U.S. into a very bloody and destructive war.
