Pakistan Reserves Right To Retaliate In Future

RAWALPINDI: Pakistan reserves the right to appropriately retaliate cross border strikes in future.

This was stated by Chairman Joint Chiefs of Staff Committee CJCSC General Tariq Majid while talking to visiting German Defence Minister Franz Josef Jung on Friday at Joint Staff Headquarters here. They exchanged views JCSC focusing bilateral ties and regional security environment.

While discussing regional security issues reiterated that a stable Afghanistan is in interest of the region as well as Pakistan, however; Afghan leadership in order to ``cover its own failings in Afghanistan keeps slandering our sincerity with preposterous allegations time and again. Blaming Pakistan's intelligence agencies of recent killings of foreign nationals in Afghanistan is a case in point.''

My Comment: The Pakistan leadership do not get it. They are either in denial of their failing situation, in cohoots with the enemy that we are at war with, or are trying to play both fields at once. As an ally they are completely unreliable, and if the situation continues can be our greatest enemy.
