Pakistan Refutes Secret Deal With U.S. On Cross-Country

(RTTNews) - The Pakistan embassy in the U.S. has reportedly denied American news reports of a "secret agreement" between the two countries regarding predator bombings in Pakistan's lawless tribal areas bordering Afghanistan, media reports said.

The denial came in the wake of reports in a section of the American Fourth Estate to this effect, according to which, Islamabad would continue to publicly protest against the U.S. drone strikes on its tribal areas, "but privately would have no objection."

Reacting to reports, a spokesman of the Pakistani embassy said that the understanding between the two countries was "open and public." He said that if the U.S. comes in possession of any actionable intelligence, it was required to provide that (intelligence) to Pakistan, which alone would take the required action.

My Comment: Pakistan is dreaming .... and in denial .... of what their history has been like in the past few years.
