Arusha — High ranking military officers at the time of the genocide have been jailed for life for their key role in the massacre of more than 800,000 people.
The International Criminal Tribunal for Rwanda (ICTR) on Thursday found Colonel Théoneste Bagosora, director of cabinet in the Ministry of Defence, guilty of genocide, crimes against humanity and war crimes.
The court also found Major Aloys Ntabakuze, commander of the Para Commando Battalion, and Colonel Anatole Nsengiyumva, commander of the Operational Sector of Gisenyi, guilty of the same charges and jailed them for life as well.

My Comment: In my opinion .... their sentence of life is too short.
