Obama: May Have Afghan Strategy Before Nov. 7 Vote -- May Not Announce 'Til After -- USA Today
President Obama says he may have a new Afghanistan strategy by the time the winner of the Nov. 7 runoff is known -- though when he will make it public is another question.
"I think it is entirely possible that we have a strategy formulated before a runoff is determined," Obama told our pal Savannah Guthrie of NBC News. "We may not announce it."
