Pakistani Taliban: Whole Country Is Now A War Zone -- The Telegraph

Qari Hussain, one of the leaders of the Pakistani Taliban, has declared the whole country to be a war zone.

His reported comments were made as two Pakistani soldiers, including a brigadier, were killed when suspected Taliban gunmen attacked their vehicle in a drive-by shooting in a suburb of Islamabad which left the windscreen peppered with bullet holes.

Their driver, also a soldier, was injured, police said.
