Jets Pound Militant Hideouts In South Waziristan -- Dawn

PESHAWAR: Aircraft bombed militants in the South Waziristan region on the Afghan border on Tuesday as government forces prepare for a ground offensive against the militant hub, security officials said.

The military says it is awating government orders to give the final push to the militants in the Waziritsan agencies.

In an exclusive interview with DawnNews, the chief military spokesman Athar Abbas said that the military has blocked all entry and exit points to Waziristan agencies as a preliminary move.
