The Senate Armed Services Committee postponed its Monday briefing on the deadly Fort Hood massacre at the request of the White House -- despite calls from some lawmakers to press forward with a congressional investigation into the shooting rampage that killed 13 and wounded 29.

My Comment: Everyday we are learning more and more about the Fort Hood shooter and his Islamic/radical cleric/Pakistani ties. For example, today's gem is the following .... Officials: Major Hasan Sought 'War Crimes' Prosecution of U.S. Soldiers .... and as I said before, everyday something new is popping up, and the narrative that was first framed by this administration and its Army spokesmen is starting to unravel.

There are probably many reasons on why today's meeting was postponed "indefinitely" .... but I have a sinking feeling that the investigators have found even more evidence that incriminates Major Hasan and his Islamic radical connections that everyone (for the past few years) decided to ignore.

But try as they might, I do not think that the Administration and/or the military will be successful in covering up the more important discoveries from this investigation. This is a big story, and it strikes at the heart of our military/security/intelligence institutions. The truth will come out .... even if it is watered down and sugarcoated by the institutions who have a vested interest in seeing this case quietly disappear.
