Major Snowstorm Sweeps Across Eastern US -- Voice of America

A winter storm has dropped at least 25 centimeters of snow on Washington and other parts of the U.S. Middle Atlantic region.

The National Weather Service is predicting as much as 60 to 75 centimeters of snow for the Washington area by late Saturday. The storm brought high winds and low visibility at times throughout the region.
