Bureaucrat Who Allegedly Hired ‘Jason Bournes’ Speaks -- The Danger Room

The Pentagon official who allegedly boasted of running his own private team of “Jason Bournes” is finally speaking out.

Early this week, the New York Times landed a curious scoop about a freelance spy ring in Afghanistan and Pakistan that is reportedly under criminal investigation by the Defense Department. Now the San Antonio Express-News has landed an interview with the man alleged to have been at the center of the operation.

My Comment:
There is a lot of information and discussion in these articles. As to what is my take .... I do not believe that Michael D. Furlong ordered hits and contract killings, but it appears that he was involved in increasing the information flow to the various intelligence agencies.

Were people's toes stepped on .... probably .... but until a full investigation is done everything that is being made public will only be open to debate and differences in opinion.
