From CNN:
Washington (CNN) -- Recently, I was talking with an interviewer about men and war (I wrote a book about this), and she asked me, "What is it about testosterone that gets us into war?"
There is no doubt that women can fight. They do so every day in Afghanistan and Iraq. Though not permitted in the infantry in the U.S., they have seen plenty of action on a battlefield with no fronts. They are brave. They are also prudent.
Some men, maybe not so much.

My Comment: My recommendation for those who are on the fence with this issue, read the book "Band of Sisters", and then make your decision. As for me, I follow the advice of what my friends who have experienced divorce with their ex-wives tell me .... they are vicious and are certainly wired for war.

Women are wired for respect, motherhood, intellectual abilities, nurturing, compassionate and loving...endurance, perseverance and
loyalty... not stupid wars and futile aggressions.
Thank you anonymous for your comment. Of course (most) women are wired for respect, motherhood, intellectual abilities, nurturing, compassionate and loving ... endurance, perseverance and
loyalty .... etc.... but they can also certainly defend their "nest" and loved ones when threatened, and in war they can (and have) been excellent soldiers.
I have had many a discussion with the women in my life on this very subject. I personally prefer them to be away from the front lines .... and certainly not in war zones. The howls of indignation that have received on this point of view .... well you can imagine.
Bit the bottom line is the following .... women are in the military .... and they are going to be in war zones ready to fight. The argument on whether they are wired to fight is moot .... because anyone who knows a female soldier can testify that when push comes to shove .... they can shove just like anyone else .... and they will.
