Highway Of Heroes Ride To Honour Veterans Who Died After Returning Home -- Toronto Star

The organizer of a ride down the Highway of Heroes wants Canadians to join him Saturday in honouring soldiers who were injured in Afghanistan and died after returning home.

Randy Young says it’s a chance for the families of those soldiers to make the trip along Highway 401 from CFB Trenton in eastern Ontario to Toronto, the route taken each time the casket of a soldier killed in Afghanistan is returned from the country.
