A Terrorist Conviction .... And A Warning

Times Square Bomb Plot: Faisal Shahzad Warns Of Further Attacks -- The Telegraph

Faisal Shahzad, the Pakistan-born American who admitted "100 times over" trying to detonate a car bomb near Times Square, warned of further attacks unless the United States leaves Muslim countries alone.

Shahzad showed no remorse as he pleaded guilty to 10 terrorism and weapons charges in a New York court.

Calling himself a "Muslim soldier", he said: "I am part of the answer to the US terrorising the Muslim nations and the Muslim people. And, on behalf of that, I'm avenging the attack." Shahzad, 30, told the court he wanted "to plead guilty and I'm going to plead guilty 100 times over". Citing American military operations in Afghanistan and Iraq, and drone strikes in Somalia, Yemen and Pakistan, Shahzad said that "we will be attacking the US" until it pulled out.
