Can The U.S. 'Absorb' Another Terror Attack?

United States Could 'Absorb' Another Terror Attack, Obama Says in Woodward Book -- FOX News

President Obama, after being warned repeatedly by his advisers about the threat of another terror attack on U.S. soil, said in an interview two months ago that the United States could "absorb" another strike.

The comment was included in the new book by journalist Bob Woodward, "Obama's Wars," excerpts of which were reported by The Washington Post and The New York Times.

My Comment: I am sure the US can absorb another terror attack .... it probably can absorb a large number of terror attacks .... but this is not the discussion that we should focus on. What we should focus on is preventing groups like Al Qaeda to organize and plan attacks against us.

Having said that .... former New York City Mayor Giuliani is also right when he says that 'I would say you're never prepared for' a terror attack .... saying that the country can never truly be prepared for such an event.

Interesting .... President Obama is not the only one to say that the US can absorb another terror attack. Former Vice President Cheney alluded to the same thing when he was in power.
