7 Killed In Latest Missile Strike In Pakistan -- Air Force Times

QUETTA, Pakistan — A suspected U.S. missile strike on Saturday killed seven insurgents in a restive tribal area.

Two U.S. missiles fired from unmanned aircraft hit a house and a vehicle Saturday night in a village near Miran Shah, the main town in the North Waziristan tribal region, officials said. The attack killed seven militants, four of them foreigners, they added.

My Comment: After a brief lull, U.S. drone strikes are now occurring on a regular basis in Pakistan's tribal regions. I expect this to continue as U.S. military operations in Afghanistan intensify in the next few months.
