Confusion, Blame Follow Moscow Airport Bombing -- Washington Post
MOSCOW - Two suicide bombers, a man and a woman, may have carried out the attack on Domodedovo Airport here Monday that killed 35 and injured more than 100, a Russian investigator told a state-controlled news agency Tuesday.
But a different source told Russian wire services that the bombing was the work of a lone man--who succeeded, even though security services were on a terrorist alert, because they were looking for a woman.
