Sticky was scooped up by paratroopers in Afghanistan who proved they have a softer side when they found him a whisker from death near an army checkpoint whilst on patrol.
Soldiers from 3rd Battalion The Parachute Regiment are now so besotted with their feline friend they are on a mission to raise £5,000 to bring him back to Britain when their tour ends next month.
