Prisoners Stage Anti-Government Protests in Yemen -- Voice of AmericaClashes between Yemeni security officials and rioting prisoners demanding the president's resignation have killed at least one person and wounded about 60 people.
Witnesses say security officials fired tear gas and warning shots on Tuesday at inmates at a prison in Sana'a.
The unrest at the facility began late Monday. Prisoners demanding reforms set blankets and mattresses on fire, and announced they were joining the country's anti-government protest movement.
