British Prime Minister Cameron And French President Sarkozy Visit Libya



Libya: David Cameron And Nicolas Sarkozy Receive Rapturous Reception In Benghazi -- The Telegraph

David Cameron and Nicolas Sarkozy received a rapturous reception as the pair flew into Benghazi, the birthplace of the Libyan resistance.

The Prime Minister and the French President were greeted by jubilant crowds as they appeared in the city.

Flanked by the new leadership, Mr Cameron told the jubilant crowd in the city's Liberty Square that they had been an "inspiration to the world".

"People in Britain salute your courage," he declared to massive cheers.
