My Comment: 9/11 changed everything for the U.S. .... but it also impacted other countries .... Pakistan included. Pakistan's support for militant groups engaged in international terrorism coupled with providing sanctuary for terror leaders like Osama bin Laden .... has developed an environment of extremism and violence that has not only clearly shocked Pakistanis, but it has also brought about blow-back from those who blame Pakistan for this rise of extremism.
My prediction on what is going to happen .... Pakistanis will still continue to deny the role that their country is playing in promoting international terrorism, and in return the violence, extremism, and economic dislocation will not only continue to grow .... but in fact will accelerate.
