Poll: 50% Of Americans Would Support Military Action To Stop Iran`s Nuclear Program



Poll: Half Could Support Iran Attack -- Politico

A majority of American voters believe economic sanctions to stop Iran from developing nuclear weapons won’t work and half say the United States should take military action if sanctions fail, a new poll shows.

In a Quinnipiac University survey, 60 percent said the sanctions placed against Iran by the U.S. and its allies have not been effective, while 33 percent said they have been effective.

My Comment: With the publication of these poll results .... some are now disagreeing with the metrics used in conducting the poll. As to what is my take .... these poll results are surprising .... I expected a lesser number. There is little media or political support for such an action, and with the exception of a few Republican Presidential candidates being vocal on what to do with Iran .... drastic measures such as attacking Iran have been left out of the U.S. public discourse.
