India Military Eyes Combined Threat -- The Diplomat

Indian military planners are reshaping the Army in readiness for a potential combined threat from China and Pakistan. Can it “cold start?”

Indian Prime Minister Manmohan Singh may have told the country’s parliament last month that he doesn’t expect an attack by China, but India’s military is taking no chances.

The world’s second-largest army, which celebrated its 64th Army Day on January 15, is on the cusp of implementing a major transformation in its organizational structure and war strategies to meet a possible combined threat from China and its ally Pakistan.

My Comment: In short .... it appears that India has prepared and structured its forces to be able to conduct a successful first strike against Pakistan, but still be able to defend itself against Chinese aggression. Hmmm ... what is my take .... if one side fears that it is losing .... nuclear weapons will be rolled out very quickly, and the threat of all-out nuclear war will probably become a reality.

china is encircling INDIA with 'string of pearls' & every chinese think-tank believe that india will be crushed, but if u take simple example as a cylinder of sponze can sqeuzed by thread,but if INDIA make SAME CYLINDER of strong iron & plasma then thread definitely going to burst by itself if further stretching occurs arround strong cylinder,, & i have many strategies to make china defeat & pakistan intervenes,, ther r other forces like US,UK,FRANCE,RUSSIA & ISRAEL to take care about.... jai hind.... INDIANS cant' stop....
