Report: Iran Planning Attacks On U.S. Targets In Turkey -- Haaretz

According to Turkish Zaman daily, a cell of the Quds Unit of Iran’s Revolutionary Guard is planning to attack U.S. embassy in Ankara.

The Turkish newspaper Zaman reported Tuesday that Turkish intelligence has warned that Iran’s Revolutionary Guard is planning attacks on the American embassy and American consulates throughout the country.

According to the report, Turkey’s security forces have warned police in all 81 districts throughout the country, telling them to remain alert and vigilant.

My Comment: Much of the Western media focus has been on Israeli or U.S. military action directed at Iran's nuclear program. What has been left out of the discussion is that Iran has a long history of using proxies to launch military strikes against us .... and considering what has been happening in the Middle East recently (Iranian allies like Syria under threat, oil and financial embargoes, and threats of military strikes against Iranian targets) .... it would not surprise me if the Iranians are now drawing up their own plans of action.
