Chilling new photographs have emerged of a Syrian regime soldier posing with a cache of weapons used to inflict pain and suffering on the citizens of Homs.

The pictures, reportedly seized from his mobile phone when he was captured, appear to show him from his gunning position on the rooftop of a building.

Stern-faced, he shows off machine guns, night-vision goggles, a bazooka and a rocket launcher - a national flag, with the words 'God, Syria and Bashar Assad' appears in the background.

My Comment: I will be very surprised if this captured Syrian soldier is still alive.
