Someone once said War is old men talking and young men dying. War is a very expensive and unpredictable way to solve a dispute. Does anyone remember Cheney reacting in disbelief at the suggestion that the Iraq war could go on for years and cost hundreds of billions of dollars? He was right to react in disbelief. It went on for a decade and cost over a trillion and counting. Iraq possibly developing a nuclear weapon is not good, but a war with Iran is worse.
