Human Rights Group: 250 Killed In Syria Thursday -- Voice of America
A Syrian human rights group says more than 250 people, including a large number of civilians, were killed in fighting across Syria Thursday.
The figure was provided by the London-based Syrian Observatory for Human Rights.
It was one of the bloodiest days in the 16-month uprising against President Bashar al-Assad.

My Comment: I suspect that this is a low-ball number. The fact is that Syria's civil war is now encompassing the entire country .... and even though Ramadan starts today (Friday) .... I do not think this will lessen the bloodshed. The same happened last year in Libya .... and if anything .... the violence only got worse during Ramadan, and accelerated into an all-out conflict when it ended.
