OTTAWA — A speech by Pauline Marois, whose separatist Parti Québécois claimed a victory in a provincial election on Tuesday, was abruptly cut short when a man fired shots near an entrance to the hall where she was speaking, leaving one man dead and another in critical condition.

Sighhh .....

Matt Gurney's comments coverage on the aftermath of this election mirrors my own, and as to who is the new leader of Quebec, this article pretty well sums it up.
