Iran Starts To Jam Satellite News Broadcasts


Iran Accused of Jamming Satellites -- Epoch Times

Iran has started jamming international broadcasting into the country, said a U.S.-based independent broadcasting agency.

The Broadcasting Board of Governors said the jamming is likely in connection with recent protests in the country.

Scores of Iranians have held demonstrations, and business owners have closed their operations to protest the declining value of the rial currency.

My Comment: They have limited access to the internet. They are now jamming broadcasts. What's next .... if this trend continues it will be cell phone and phone communications to the outside. Will it succeed .... nope.

On a side note .... if Iran is so willing to violate agreements and treaties that govern the rule of satellite broadcasts .... do you really think they will respect a nuclear treaty?
