Recognizing The Opposition In Syria -- New York Times
Last month major opposition groups joined to form the National Coalition of Syrian Revolutionary and Opposition Forces, giving it some diplomatic credibility. Although the United States has been slow in officially recognizing the coalition, it is considering labeling another group, the Nusra Front, a terrorist organization, which would show solidarity.
