Let's Hope The Boston Bombers Aren't Linked To Chechen Militants -- Business Insider

Chechnya is home to some of the deadliest militant groups in the world, though so far they have primarily remained in Muslim countries. Chechnyan terrorist groups targeting the U.S. would represent a frightening new front.

My Comment: We do know a few things. One .... Tamerlan Tsarnaev did travel to this region and stayed there for 6 months .... and he was questioned by the FBI at the request of a foreign government (I suspect that it was Russia that made the request).

Chechen terror groups have been responsible for some of the bloodiest terror attacks in Russia in the past two decades. Apartment bombings. Beslan school massacre. Moscow theater massacre .... just to name a few. If there is a linkage .... I would not be surprised .... and considering the history of these groups and on how they target civilians .... deeply worrying.
