Unconfirmed Reports of Explosives in Four Buildings; Yard Closed; Exams in Affected Locations Canceled -- Harvard Crimson
Students were evacuated from the Science Center, Emerson Hall, Thayer Hall, and Sever Hall shortly after 9 a.m. Monday morning after unconfirmed reports of explosives in each of these buildings.
Exams have been cancelled in buildings specifically targeted in the threat, Thomas A. Dingman '67 confirmed by phone just after 10 a.m.
The Harvard University Police Department and the Cambridge Police are on the scene, and all four buildings have been evacuated, HUPD spokesperson Steven G. Catalano confirmed. Officers are also stationed around the Yard to keep people out of Harvard Yard.

My Comment: It is final exam time at Harvard. Let us hope that this is just an attempt by one or more students to have their exams postponed.
