Ukraine Sets A Deadline For Russian Protesters In Eastern Ukraine

Kyiv Offers Amnesty For Separatist Protesters -- Voice of America

Ukraine's acting president, Oleksandr Turchynov, is promising amnesty for pro-Russia demonstrators if they give up their weapons and vacate government buildings the occupied in two of the country's eastern cities.

Turchynov said Thursday he is willing to make his promise official in a presidential proclamation.

There has been no reply so far from the separatist protesters.

Interior Minister Arsen Avakov said Wednesday that Kyiv will put an end to the siege of government buildings Friday, either through negotiations or by force.
