Rome: An Italian journalist and his Russian translator have been killed in fighting between pro-Russian forces and Ukrainian government troops in eastern Ukraine, the Italian Foreign Ministry has confirmed.

My Comment: My sources in eastern Ukraine have been telling me for the past 2-3 weeks that it is now incredibly dangerous to drive around in the rebel provinces of Donetsk and Luhansk. Ukrainian and pro-separatist forces are everywhere, and skirmishes are now becoming a common occurrence.

From this video:
1. Got any idea what the graffiti on the wall to the left of the shot up cars is? It's looks like a circle with a y in it.

2. The guy at the hospital they interviewed is in my opinion lying about what happened, why I don't know.

Sorry that read "shot up car" not cars.

No idea on what the Y in the middle of the circle means. Even checked Google and a Russian equivalent .... but nothing specific.

As to the French reporter interviewed in the hospital .... I do not know if he is lying or telling the truth, but when it comes to news from Ukraine right now .... I advise everyone to be very skeptical on what you read and hear.

That is why I am trying my best in this blog to give multiple sources on any given story .... at least this way we have everyone's opinion and I will let you .... the reader .... decide on what is true or not. And then I throw in my two cents worth.

Like I said, I don't know why, but the impression I get that that guy is lying is very strong.
