"Люди все радуются" - "People are all happy" a voice says in the video. They are probably thinking the separatists shot down a military plane.

What consequences will this lead to?

This computer's keyboard is geared for English. My other computer is in Russian. I have been told that there are some keyboards and software that permits both .... but I am not familiar with them.

For the above comment .... I did it on my Russian "computer".

Ok. What will this airplane crash lead to? Can this cold the relations between Russia and the west further? Can this increase the risk of western intervention in Ukraine?

I doubt the accusations that the plane was shot down will ever be completely silenced.

So the war in Ukraine is no longer a bilateral issue (or trilateral, if you count local rebels as an independent actor) - it now involves all countries, which had citizens on the plane. This will be bad, real bad. And that's on top of the tragedy of 300 lost lives.

I completely concur Настрадин Ходжа

I agree wit you to. Hope this will not spark a world war if that's the worst case scenario. What consequences will it have that other countries will be involved in the crisis?

Russia state media - Ukraine’s anti-aircraft missile system dispatched to Donetsk Wednesday itar-tass.com/world/741173

almost seams like a conspiracy theorist style false flag
moral justification and pretense for Russia to invade

read this web cache of Donetsk deleted tweet

and this one Rebel leader Igor Strelkov earlier today comfirmed his man shot down an 'Antonov-26'

it's so Orwellian to me

A phone conversation (supposedly) between separatist field soldiers and commanders and their superiors has been leaked. Authentic? Anyone's guess.

If it's not though I have to congratulate the voice actors. When the field commander "Greek" says that a civilian plane has been shot down there's a tense silence for several seconds, and then the superior "Major" audibly agitated starts asking for details - were there many people? Don't know, only went to where the first bodies fell. Were there any weapons on board? No, only civilian stuff - medical supplier, blankets. Any documents? Yes - Indonesia student from Thompson university, etc. etc. Both sound upset, especially the guy who reports from the scene.

Then another conversation between another pair of field operative and HQ guy. The field guy reports "the plane shot down in the area of Snezh Torez turned out to be passenger. Fell in the vicinity of Grabovo, it's a sea of women's and children's bodies there. ... What was the plane doing on Ukrainian territory?" HQ guy says "So they were importing spies, I understand. There's a war going on".
