Three Islamic jihadists were dead tonight after special forces brought an end to more than two days of slaughter which have left at least 17 dead and spread terror across France.
Said and Cherif Kouachi, the brothers who had assassinated 12 people at satirical magazine Charlie Hebdo, died in a blaze of gunfire at a printworks near Paris where they had been holed up with one hostage, who survived.
Moments later, dozens of commandos stormed a Jewish grocery 25 miles away in east Paris where accomplice Amedey Coulibaly was threatening to kill 15 terrified captives, including women and children.

Not surprising to read the lead article on BBC making no mention of Jews or a Jewish grocery store.
It of course states a 'Kosher' store, but this is not clear enough to state that a Jewish store filled with Jews was specifically targeted because they are Jews.
Sky news, whilst generally not much better in its reporting at least quotes Amedy Coulibaly in his call to BFMTV that he targeted the kosher supermarket because he wanted to defend Palestinians and target Jews.
BBC, shame on you yet again...
I haven't bothered scanning most of the other main stream media links but wouldn't be surprised to find similar reporting.
You think the BBC is bad .... in Canada they said exactly the same thing, and the U.S. news media .... they are utterly hopeless. The big surprise has been in the Russian and Chinese media .... in both countries they bluntly stated that Jews were targeted in Paris, as well as publishing follow-up reports on Jews migrating out of Paris and France .... and why this weeks terror attack may prompt an even greater migration.
