Oriana Pawlyk, Military Times: WWII 'Devil's Brigade' to receive medal
WNU Editor: Talk about coincidences, I am going to a birthday party tonight and the guest of honor is one of my father's best friends (he is turning 91). He was at the battle of Monte Cassino serving with the Canadian forces via through a Polish volunteer unit, and his responsibility was to provide support by maintaining (and repairing) the communications gear. He later worked with Canada's Spar Aerospace in developing Canada's satellite communications system.It is going to be a treat to meet him tonight.
