I had a kid that was into the game War Hammer.
The people are not technologically adept. They are regressing. They are not innovative, but do things by wrote.
Is Islam going to do the same thing to a technical library? Being able to maintain a diesel engine or a generator is not the same thing as running a complex society where you need to get the most out of everything from the tech, machines to people.
Getting the most out of people to learn run and create engines and motors reaching from 50% to 90% efficiency is not going to be done in the Islamic State or some new caliphate.
It won't be long until these IS morons will be calling blueprints they need to communicate how to run or build the mechanical devices they need "holy schematics".
If War hammer & holy schematics is an apt metaphor for the Islamic State, then you know the ultimate fate of earth and humanity.

It's more like fifty or so years old and in some ways dated. If you don't have a Catholic background some of it could be tedious. The majority of it is timeless and very funny. I'd like to hear your opinion of it. Until then beware of simpletons.

You're right about the history part. Hitler was clear on his desire to spare the churches and important landmarks. As a Jew I won't say another good thing about the Nazi's. I have been thinking though that these guys might be worse than the Nazi's. And I freakin hate the Nazi's
