Ukraine Accuses Russia Of Sending More Tanks To East Ukraine

Wall Street Journal: Ukraine Accuses Russia of Sending More Weapons to Separatists

Violence continues to subside after cease-fire deal reached last week.

MOSCOW—Ukraine accused Russia of sending more tanks and other weapons across the border to pro-Moscow separatists fighting Kiev’s troops, although officials said violence continued to subside Friday after a cease-fire deal was reached last week.

The truce, brokered by the leaders of France and Germany in a marathon summit in Minsk, Belarus, on Feb. 12, hasn't yet taken full effect, but fighting has subsided in recent days after separatist forces Wednesday drove Kiev’s troops from the strategic rail hub of Debaltseve, which had seen some of the fiercest combat.

WNU Editor, did your relatives in Ukraine deny that Russian troops are in Ukraine as well?

My relatives are not in eastern Ukraine. The closest is my aunt who lives in Kharkiv .... and according to her tensions are very high between the Russian community in that city and the heavy Ukrainian military backed by militias from the east. The Ukrainians who live there naturally have a different point of view .... but everyone is nervous on what is going to happen next.

But didn't you say earlier that your niece was in Kyiv a year ago? Or was it RT style news reporting?

Thank you Jay for the link. I found the English version to the story .... and .... unbelievable. I am going to post it later. I know that children who are studying in universities abroad and have been out of Ukraine for the past 2 or 3 years are receiving call-up notices.

Hmmmm .... I am going to inquire on what is Canada's status and policy to Ukraine kids who are studying here and who may have receive such a notice back in Ukraine. Will Canada give them political/refugee status .... or tell them tough luck and go back home to their fate.

WNU Editor,

Given the Harper Con's support for War in the Ukraine, and their treatment of US CO's,

I'm pretty sure that the BSA will start rounding them up, shipping them back, and use the footage on their "reality" TV show,
