British Pilots Are Conducting Airstrikes In Syria

UK forces have been taking part in coalition operations against ISIS in Iraq.

Daily Mail: Fury as Cameron admits he knew British RAF pilots were carrying out ISIS airstrikes 'by stealth' in Syria

* UK pilots embedded with allies' forces conducted airstrikes over Syria
* House of Commons voted against taking military action in Syria in 2013
* Three British pilots were with US and Canada who took part in strikes
* MoD said embedded personnel are effectively operating as foreign troops

David Cameron was today accused of authorising British involvement in airstrikes in Syria 'by stealth' after it emerged RAF pilots were bombing ISIS targets.

Downing Street said the Prime Minister knew the British aircrew were embedded with US and Canadian forces carrying out strikes and 'what they were doing'.

But the arrangement appeared at odds with reassurances that MPs would vote before any action in Syria, which the SNP's Alex Salmond said condemned as 'entirely unacceptable'.

WNU Editor: So much for the British parliamentary vote in 2013 that prohibited this. Adding insult to injury .... even though this "secret" has now been exposed, the British military will continue conducting airstrikes .... Syria air strikes: Britain will continue targeting Isil despite lack of Parliamentary approval (The Telegraph).

If Brit spec Ops are killing ISIS, the air arm would have to be there. Even the best laid plans could go awry and they would need air power to extricate themselves.

We have know the spec ops was there 6 to 12 months ago. So who was fooled?

This is just a political Don''t Ask Don't tell.
