Saudi Arabia Arrests Over 400 Islamic State Suspects Plotting A Wave Of Bomb Attacks

Daily Mail: Saudi Arabia arrests 431 suspected ISIS members 'planning attacks on mosques, security forces and a diplomatic mission'

* Ring said to be targeting worshippers, the police and a diplomatic mission
* Saudi suicide bomber killed 27 in a mosque attack in Kuwait last month

Saudi Arabia has arrested 431 suspected ISIS militants believed to have been planning a fresh wave of attacks on mosques, security forces and a diplomatic mission.

The kingdom's interior ministry said it had 'destroyed an organisation made of a cluster of cells' linked to the barbaric jihadi group.

The announcement came just two days after a car bomb exploded at a checkpoint near the country's highest security prison, killing the driver and wounding two officials in an attack claimed by ISIS.

WNU Editor: If it was a dozen arrested .... I would say that the threat is there but it is not that big. But 431 arrests !?!?!?!?!.... if these are real suspects (and not the usual round up up the usual suspects) it then tells me that ISIS has penetrated Saudi Arabia far more than what the authorities are saying.

WNU,
I don't think this is the "usual suspects" move. Coupled with the recent events in Radwan and the Egyptian Sinai it seems ISIS has decided to move southwest. If they are successful in linking to their forces in Libya they'll accomplish quite a list of goals.
1) Splitting land wise Israel, Jordan, and Egypt from Saudi Arabia and the Gulf States.
2) Bringing immense indirect pressure on the canal, forcing Sisi to devote enough personnel to it's defense to expose Cairo to subversion and attack.
3) Linkage to forces in Libya would give ISIS a two way land communications across North Africa into southern Europe (via refugee streams), the Sub Sahara, Tunisia, Algeria, and Morocco.

The Bosnian news is interesting in of course what "does it really mean"? I don't think it represents a major move now, but rather a long term investment and experiment. Establish a bridgehead, recon for local support, assess local security, etc. At the least it shows there is connivance/infiltration of a significant portion of the Turkish security apparatus and government from not only high places but local strata.
The great fight of the near future still lies in the Iraq, Syrian, and Lebanon area, especially after the "agreement". The Syrian and Hezbollah forces there are still cut off and suffering. The race is on for Iran with new funds and weapons to relieve them before ISIS overwhelms them.
